The Story Behind ErgoNest

My name is Emilia Brooks. I'm the founder of ErgoNest — a brand that didn't begin with a cold business plan or the question, "What should I sell?" It started with something much simpler: someone I love.

My husband's name is Daniel. He works in IT. And if you have someone in your life who works in this field, you probably know exactly what that looks like: a laptop open from early morning, coffee getting cold next to the keyboard, headphones on, calls, meetings, tasks, deadlines, code, edits, and one more "quick fix" that somehow stretches late into the night.

I often watched Daniel from the side. He could sit almost completely still for hours — focused, responsible, fully immersed in his work. It seemed like he had everything under control: projects, teams, complex tasks, deadlines. Everything except his own body.

At first, I noticed the small things: the way he stretched his neck after a long call, tucked a pillow behind his lower back, changed positions every few minutes, or stood up from his desk and paused for a second because his back had reminded him again.

He would say, "It's nothing, I just sat for too long," "It'll pass," "Everyone deals with this," or "I'll stretch later." But it hurt me to watch. Because I didn't just see tiredness. I saw Daniel — a person who worked hard, cared deeply, and was building our future — paying for it every day with his back.

That was the first time I thought: why do we so easily invest in a new laptop, phone, or work setup, but often forget about the one thing supporting the person who uses all of it every single day? So many workspaces are put together "just somehow": a chair that happened to be there, a desk that happened to fit, a random cushion, a sitting position the body simply has to tolerate. But this is where most of the day happens. This is where ideas, decisions, projects, and careers are built. And this is also where pain can quietly begin.

That is how the idea for ErgoNest was born. I didn't want to create just another ergonomic chair brand. I wanted to create care you could place in a room. First for him. Then for thousands of others.

At first, I was looking for a solution for Daniel. A chair where his back wouldn't feel like it was begging for mercy after a few hours of work. A chair that didn't just look comfortable, but truly supported the body throughout a long workday. I wanted him to finish work with enough energy left for more than just closing the laptop and lying down. I wanted our evenings to be about life after work — not about "my back hurts."

Over time, I realized this wasn't just our story. This is how thousands of people work. They sit in front of screens for hours, create products, lead teams, solve complex problems — and often don't even notice how their bodies slowly begin to wear down under constant tension. People get used to pain. To a stiff neck. To a tired back. To sitting "however it works" because "there's no time to think about it right now." But at ErgoNest, we don't believe pain should become normal. We believe self-care should begin earlier — gently, intelligently, and with more attention to the body.

What We Create

ErgoNest focuses on ergonomic chairs for people who spend long hours working at a computer. We believe the right chair can change more than your workspace. It can change how you feel at the end of the day. Because when your body is supported, it becomes easier to focus, work with less strain, and end the day without feeling completely drained.

ErgoNest Ergonomic Chairs

A chair is not just a piece of furniture. For someone who works at a computer, a chair becomes almost like a second working body. It either supports you — or slowly wears you down.

A regular chair forces the person to adapt to it. An ergonomic chair does the opposite: it adapts to the person. It supports the lower back, helps the spine stay in a more natural position, and allows you to adjust the height, tilt, armrests, and sitting position. It's not just about being "comfortable." It's about helping the body feel supported through long workdays.

We want every person to sit in an ErgoNest chair not like they're settling into a trap for the next eight hours, but like they're settling into support. Over time, a workspace can also be complemented with other ergonomic solutions — such as a height-adjustable desk or a seat cushion. But the heart of ErgoNest is our chairs: created for daily support, comfort, and care for your back.

Who ErgoNest Is For

We don't create our products for some abstract "customer." We create them for people who are loved by someone.

For the husband who spends hours writing code. For the wife who notices how tired he becomes. For the mother working from home between meetings and caring for her children. For the freelancer who built an office in a small corner of the room. For everyone who sits for long hours and deserves more than "I'll just deal with it."

ErgoNest is for the people someone is waiting for after work. For the people we want to see not exhausted, but present, smiling, and full of energy for the evening, family, hobbies, a walk, or a real conversation.

What We Believe

We believe comfort is not a luxury. It is a form of self-respect. If a person gives their energy, focus, and time to work every day, their body deserves support.

We are not about cold ergonomics, complicated terms, or dry specifications. We are about real people — and workspaces that help them live after work, not just collapse after it.

Because care is not always found in grand gestures. Sometimes care is the right chair. The right support. A space where the body can finally feel a little lighter.

Our Mission

ErgoNest's mission is to help people stop treating back pain as a normal part of work. We want an ergonomic workspace to feel less like a luxury and more like an everyday act of care for anyone who spends long hours at a computer.

So people don't wait until the pain becomes impossible to ignore. So they don't get used to enduring discomfort. So they can work productively without feeling like every day is taking something away from their health.

ErgoNest began with the desire to care for one person. Today, it exists for everyone who recognizes themselves — or someone they deeply love — in this story.

ErgoNest — When Your Workspace Cares for You

I know what it feels like to look at someone you love and see them worn down not only by work, but by pain. That is why we created ErgoNest — a brand of ergonomic chairs for workspaces, designed to help the body feel supported throughout the day.

These are not just products. They are a way to say to yourself or someone you love: "I want this to feel easier for you." Easier to sit. Easier to work. Easier to finish the day without back pain. Easier to remember that the body is not a tool meant to be endlessly pushed.

ErgoNest was born from care. And every chair we create carries that same idea: support, comfort, and love you can feel every day. Because sometimes the best way to care for someone is to create a place where they can truly feel good.

Take care of yourself before your body has to ask through pain.
